Ya think?

Shoot an insurrectionist breachung Capitol security in a mob intent on starting a revolution is a justified shooting.
Won't even be charges on that one. She shouldn't have jumped in the window.

They literally yelled out gun several times. Her fellow rioters tried to warn her but she wanted her voice heard (it was silenced forever)
I regret the loss of life but refuse to say she was murdered by that officer. That (as well as many of these other killings) was justified.
She had no business being in there.

Or
Continue to live in your paranoid world that someone is out to get you.
I have a cousin who spent 30 years in the FBI and when I asked him what he thought about Ashli Babbitt getting shot and was is a justified shooting and he was as adamant as could be when he said that everything that guy did was against the field manuals methods of using deadly force. He stated that the shooting was unjustified and the guy should face some charges.
I personally believe if you put yourself in those positions, you run the risk of something bad happening. I think she shares part of the blame but the shooting didn’t have to happen when it did. He still had time to wait and I don’t believe she heard or even saw him, based on the noise and the angle of where he was located and where she was located.

What bothers me about this shooting is that if he/she that made the shot, missed, an officer would probably have been hit by friendly fire, very weirdly there were about 7 officers in the same room behind her..... if I were on a jury, justified shot because she was trying to breach a window and had a backpack on that the officer did not know what it contained, but as in so many other killings, I wish she would have had more sense and just complied with the officers behind her. Looked like she was having a good old time at a harmless protest, very sad probably was a good woman. May she RIP....

Whoever shot her had on cufflinks... I've said before and ill say it again, cops don't wear cufflinks. I believe it was a member of congress. Jmo.

I initially thought that too about it possibly hitting another officer but the angle of the shot wasn't going to hit anything but the wall at probably a 45 degree angle if he missed.

It’s been confirmed by multiple news outlets that it was a plainclothes Capitol police officer. The media knows the name.

After that, crickets........

Yes. The conflation of the two issues makes for messy arguments.
Was Ashli behaving irresponsibly and recklessly? Yes. Does she bear moral culpability for her fate? Yes.
That is a completely separate question from whether or not her shooting fit the use of force policy for Capitol Police. Someone posted that policy early on in this forum and it didn’t look like the shooting lined up especially well with policy.

It’s not good. It is fact. You suck at debate.
How stupid can you be?

Then the media needs to release the name like they do all police officer shootings.
Wasn't aware they know who he is.

Any of these police shootings we have seen recently they have plastered the officers name and photo all over the media and demand some form of "justice". I am just wondering why this shooting is getting such disparate treatment by the media? I mean i know WHY but it is obvious this isn't getting covered for political reasons.

He could have shot her in the leg like Joe Biden suggested or have her talked down out of the window by a mental health expert. Just sayin'.
