I miss Justin Raimondo. Raimondo’s friendship with Pat Buchanan seemed an odd fit at first glance: the homosexual, anti-war activist and the fire-breathing conservative Catholic. Yet Justin and Buchanan both were guerrilla fighters against Empire and welcomed like-minded irregulars wherever they could find them.

I was always amazed at the wide spectrum of political perspectives that were attracted to Justin Raimondo: the Buchananites, Paulites, Rothbardians, Chomskyites, Birchers, Code Pinkers, etc... were all drawn to Justin’s effortless wit, unassailable clarity of thought and historically informed arguments against foreign interventionism.


What a tremendous loss for all who were in some way touched by Justin Raimondo’s life-work. May Justin’s spirit continue to motivate us all to continue that fight:
