Who is threatening the acts at the America 250 celebration?

I read about how all of the musicians are pulling out....but Brett Michael's explanation is the most telling. Says he and his family were threatened. Who is threatening these guys? Why is this being colored as "They didn't want to participate in a partisan Trump rally?" Sounds to me like the artists are getting threats and are scared....(possibly they should be). But I cannot find anything expounding on that....just articles saying they were misled and that this is a Trump Rally (which I dont think it is....) anybody????

For those wondering about the country music industry going woke, here is one of Nashville's top managers:
quote:
Jason Owen, the prominent music executive and manager of artists like Kacey Musgraves and Little Big Town, is actively engaged in progressive and LGBTQ+ political advocacy. He made national headlines in 2018 when he successfully led a high-profile effort to force conservative politician Mike Huckabee off the charitable board of the Country Music Association Foundation due to Huckabee's history of anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric.

Being threatened by the same mostly peaceful leftists that regularly burn cities and fight the police. Don't look too deep into this.

I’m of the opinion that Trump made a mistake slapping his branding on everything. He should have let the celebration stand on its own.
That said, there’s no question leftists are threatening participants and their families. And I don’t blame them for pulling out. Those of us on the right continue to pretend we’re playing this game by the same rules as the left.
We aren’t.

Ya think? The democrat party is undeniably a violent group who has no interest in democracy unless they’re in control. The evidence is right there for anyone to see for themselves if they choose to look.
Every single one of them should never be allowed to live freely in this country. They’re the definition of traitors.
There’s many countries that offer exactly what they’re wanting, they need get the frick out and go there because the US was founded on not being that type of country.
Not being that type of country is precisely why America is the most desirable country in the world.

What was supposed to be a celebration of the United States has petered out and now Trump has to resort to advertising for a rally for himself, while speaking about himself in the third person in a post that reads like a cocaine fueled rant. It’s all pretty pathetic and sad for our country honestly.

Who asked Brett Michaels to perform

The corrupt Political Establishment is reeling. The more you hit them, the more dangerous they become.
They're like trapped, wounded animals.

I agree. Wish Trump hadn't made it about himself.

It would be nice if we could have a big blowout party for 250 without the usual bickering about politics and optics of Trump being prez. I would think there have to be some entertainers that would consider it a privilege to perform at the 250th celebration regardless of who is president. Quite honestly, it’s sad that this was going to be Martina McBride and Brett Michaels to start with. For 250 we should have huge artists of today and yesterday. Lineup should look like the “We are the World” from the 80’s.

It's not "anti-LGBTPXYZ" rhetoric.
It's Christianity. Jason Owen, the prominent music executive and manager of artists like Kacey Musgraves and Little Big Town, should look into it a little, and possibly do something to save his everlasting soul before it's too late.

Weird, seemed to me like Huckabee converted to Judaism or something lately

The threat was probably made by Bobby Dall, Ricki Rockett, & CC Deville.

Nashville is as much a filth pit as LA or NYC. They just camouflage it better.
quote:
Owen is openly gay and is married to Sam Easley, owner of a Nashville based artist merchandising company
The Nashville music industry is filled with so-called fig hags. Annoying women with the gay best friend. You the type. Country music fans would be surprised to know just how many are deeply involved in running the behind the scenes stuff.
