Who hasn't had to face a lie? A false accusation? How often have people had to face those accusations without hardly any evidence one way or another.

I think this is where the left lost the middle and independents and unified republicans. Everyone, at some point in his or her life, has had to deal with someone else who lied or accused. Many, many more people can put themselves in JBK's shoes rather than Ford's. It's a much more relatable position.

Add on top of that how much of the evidence stacks up against Ford, and democrats come across as downright hysterical and illogical. Due process is common sense... presuming innocence (especially with all the evidence pointing to that side) is common sense.

This has been said often, but the Dems did this to themselves.

ETA: Deleted because I decided I don't want to share my experience with the whole world.

My brother was falsely accused of rape because the girl banged 2 dudes (separate times, same night) at a party and she was worried it would get around at school

I was accused of punching someone for no reason.

I told him that if he did what he was doing one more time I would deck him. He did it. I decked him. I decked him for a reason.

I was accused of peeing on the floor in a laundry mat in high school on a weekend night

Was not me

I assume the lady who accused me of it thought all long haired kids in a football letter jacket looked alike

My parents didn't believe me for quite a while because the lady was old and respected in our community - she owned the laundry mat

I was accused of some house burglaries in my subdivision when I was about 15. The problem was I was in England when they happened. One woman, who claimed to be an "eye witness," was certain it was me who broke in to the houses, so the BRPD were rather surprised when my folks told them I was not even in the country when these events occurred.

I got confronted by a chick in a bar I raw-dogged the week prior. Mormon chick who started blaming me for her having to take a Plan B pill. Even made it a point to tell her friends because several of them asked me about it. I was petrified that she would take it further. Luckily for me she dropped it and ignored me for the remainder of the semester.

Yes. By my second NCOIC when I was a Battalion S4. She complained to the HHC Commander that I was racist.

Her reasoning? She claimed I wouldn't take papers from her hand, I'd only take them once she set them down on my desk.

This of course happened a few days after I gave her a less-than-stellar NCOER. She was a complete shitbag. Thankfully I had one hell of a good reputation, she had one hell of a bad reputation, and the claim on its face was just fricking stupid.

I have...I posted this when it was asked in another thread of false accused victims and I’ll share again...

15 years ago and I’m not getting into details but took me 7 months and $15,000 in attorney fees and staring down the barrel of a grand jury with a he said she said believer of a DA with no evidence...

Fortunately I had a bad arse attorney...took polygraph test by an ex-CIA agent stationed in Houston with over 20+ years experience of giving polys especially to drug smugglers in South America during the drug wars in the 80s and 90s...his credentials were off the chart...

Also had a psych exam done...

Both polygraph expert and the Dr sent recommendations to the DA to get the female in for deeper questioning after my test results came back and to be polygraphed...

Let’s just say her story fell apart and she actually fled...DA dropped the case...

15 years ago I would have never thought I would say this but everyone that is involved with falsely accusing people of this AND those (except for family or extremely close friends) who believes someone with no evidence whatsoever and starts demonizing the accused needs to be falsely accused of the act and see how you like it...

There is rarely a fricking day that goes by that it doesn’t pop into my head on how my life could have been ruined over a fricking lie as well as what my kids would have gone through over a fricking lie...

And when I see shite like this from the fricking liberals constantly weaponizing this for political gain it’s just sickening and makes you question how sick in the mind you have to be to do that to someone!

The advice the ex-CIA agent polygraph expert gave me was the way he lives his life which is never be left alone anywhere with a woman unless there is a camera and never take a poly from the cops they don’t know what the frick they are doing and/or they will flat out lie about the results to try and get you to confess...always go third party.
