What if the players come out and say they don't want white people watching?

I have gotten a lot less invested since they have gone down that route.

This. I don't think I've missed a single LSU SEC game in the last 20 years and that includes being deployed, sneaking out of weddings, and making up excuses to get out of other stuff to watch them. This year I watched about 5 total hours and I honestly could not have cared less during our loss to A&M and our win against UF. I had no emotional interest. I watched the 2nd half of the LSU /Michigan NCAA tourney game and of course I was pulling for LSU but the second it was over I was like, oh well. I remember when Jason Kidd drove the floor to beat LSU in the 90's when we really didn't even have that good of a team and I was sick for a week.

Now baseball which I'm already bored with as a sport and you throw in the wokeness? Ha, if LSU went 12-30 this season I would care the same as if they went 40-5. None.

I stopped watching ESPN outside of games. I dont let politics affect me in a way i'll stop watching football. I also have the ability to turn the channel which is what i've done on most NBA games now. Although i'll still watch the playoffs.

Easy. Sports aren't important at all at the collegiate and professional levels. Sports are important for kids to learn life skills, but after that it's about something else. I don't need Sports anymore.

So true.

I went from die hard CFB to casual and am heading to “if I don’t have anything else to do” status.

Getting close at some levels with these announcements with the hats etc. But, by and large high school sports are still pure and about life lessons.

I’ve been living without it for over a year now, not really missing it.

Sports were my escape to get away from politics and life.

If they inject that into them I have no reason to watch anymore. Pretty simple.

No problems, here. I didn't watch a second last year. It won't hurt me at all to do it again.

When I was going to the gym @ 5am every morning it was ESPN radio all morning til cowherd ended at like noon or 1. My god I was a miserable frick. Now, the thought of sports talk radio gives me the shits. That has zero to do with politics. That’s me realizing how many more enjoyable things there are to listen to

NCAA doesn't care because women's sports is not the cash cow. If college football was threatened, then they would pay attention.

This being a college sports website, how many of you can boycott their favorite athletic events and schools? Seeing the NCAA’s recent political proposition of eliminating female sports by allowing men to participate, is this enough to drive you away?

Let’s not forget the BLM movements across our favorite schools, as well...

What year is this?

Yeah...I gave all that up last summer. After 20 years of having LSU season tickets and being a life-long fan since the I was a kid in the early 80's, I walked away form all of it and did not renew my tickets and have not watched a single solitary second of any sports since last summer when all this insanity started.

Weird at first, but I lived.

Its really easy to do. I miss the 90's, sitting on the pier in grand isle listing to the baseball team kick the ever living shite out of everyone with no option to watch it on TV even if we wanted to. Those days are gone and not coming back. These days I rarely if ever watch a football game, don't catch many baseball games. Spend my time working on the house, fishing, hunting, etc. Life is better when you don't HAVE to watch sports that nobody you know is playing in.

You live off RR. You can find things to entertain you outside of your back door lol

Sports becomes less and less relevant each day for me. Sports was originally designed to highlight competition. Now it is obnoxious sjw platforms. Millionaire complaining about injustice in itself is makes no sense.

It's no longer MUST watch TV for me. I will TVO a game and watch at my leisure. If the NCAA decides to pay student athletes, I'll be done entirely. Most are already getting a full ride on scholarships. They get free housing and free food on their meal plans.

The issue isn’t this, though. It’s just their latest development. It’s not going to stop here. It’s going to keep progressing until it gets to a point where they make statements, like a hypothetical, that they don’t want white men watching anymore. This is not the last issue.

When will people have enough, is the question.
