less substantive discussion than before.
I follow your thinking here, some of us while coming to the same conclusion and voted for Trump, we all got there in our own way.
So I think what you are hearing is the same message from a different perspective, would you rather we not respond to a genuine discussion?

I'm not interesting in shutting down discourse. My reaction is from a personal viewpoint. What I want is a board full of folks who are willing to depart from the talking points for a few minutes. Especially considering this is a largely GOP board.
If this were the campaign and we were in a public forum where influencing the narrative is a possibility, I get why you don't want to give an inch on the "Russia" issue. But we're not, and it isn't.
The election is still fresh, so maybe that'll come in time.

I was going to summarize the evidence, but Thomas Rid did a great job here
and check out Thomas rid's twitter feed...
again, you just take people at their word, whether it is the Washington post or a security firm that the DNC hired...nothing presented by Thomas rid or Bernstein bear is evidence...it's someone relaying information from 3rd hand sources with questionable motives, one of which was paid money by the DNC.
quote:
actually if you use, grasp, the internet
the only thing i'm grasping is that you're a mark. the DNC pays a security firm for some PR and you believe every damn thing they say despite the fact that they can't show you anything. moreover, I find you to be a bit dishonest. why not just link to the crowd strike pr piece and the individual Washington post articles? you're sitting here telling me the credibility of our MSM doesn't matter, but all you can do is relay on their reporting, and to obfuscate this huge hole in your logic, you link me to a link of someone's summary probably thinking I wouldn't click on every single link within.
great, you believe these people that provide you with nothing but their word...if that's all you need, then great, but it's pretty insulting to my intelligence when you keep talking about evidence but can't provide any
this is the biggest distraction ever...personally, I don't even give a shite who hacked the dnc, and i don't care if congress wants to waste money on a fruitless investigation...they're going to waste time and money on something, right?

Did you see Carlson's interview with Schiff? Schiff was picking his words as carefully as someone on the stand because he knows they don't have one iota of substance on this.

Schiff who supported the Iraqi invasion...but trust me, it was the Russians

I haven't seen it yet. Is it specifically on the CIA or allegations of Russian hacking/WL coordination generally?

Specifically Podesta/DNC emails

If you are the Democrats , maybe just maybe if you are going to set someone up as a beard like Sanders was, it is best that you don't put it in emails. Emails(gasp) can be hacked. Quite easily especially if you are not in the government.
If you are the press, the MSM ( CNN and NBC in particular) it is best that you guys cover your tracks so that the world does not see you sucking the Democrats dicks. I mean, most of us know that you do, but, you now leave evidence....and that got exposed as well.
Sorry but your butthurt was self inflicted. It's like being a prostitute out on skid row and then you get all upset when a John stiffs you on your fee and then gives the world your cellphone number with the comment " for a cheap f**k call....."

I was not a Trump supporter but the thing that won him the vote was going after the middle class and blue collar workers. He worked his arse off and fought for people's vote. No way did Tissia hack a damn election polling place.
The man won and the rest is the establishment scared of Trump rocking their world.

Think the WH just basically confirmed this point
Hopefully we can refocus the discussion on shite Russia may actually have been involved in

Russia may or may not have hacked the DNC e-mails. I wouldn't be surprised if NSA tracked an IP address back to Russia. But you have to understand that there's tons of hackers in Russia, some of whom are simply in it for profit and have nothing to do with Putin.
Keep in mind the DNC hack was very amateurish -- any half competent IT nerd could have pulled it off. So, anyone who says it takes a state actor like Russia or China with a huge budget is full of shite. Any dude in his basement can do it.
So, I am 50/50. I could see it being Russia, but I also understand it could literally be ANYONE. NSA/CIA probably knows more, but they are not going to reveal classified "sources and methods." So it's a matter of do you trust an Obama ran CIA to give us the truth? Personally, I don't especially when the CIA sources remain anonymous and refuse to put their names behind the statements.

McCain said this morning on Fox that his campaign was penetrated. It is likely that Trumps was too. This isn't anything new.
One has to assume that all electronic communicationa are hackable and operate accordingly.

This.
No voters were actually swayed by the WikiLeaks emails and what not. Places like 4chan, Reddit, here, etc. gave those emails far more credit than they really deserved.
The middle age white couple in Ohio voted for Trump for a better economy. They didn't give two shits about some email hack.

If Russia was involved in any election propaganda it was meant to disrupt the US (which seems to be working gloriously (if they did it)), not really pick a candidate. I guarantee you that Russian intelligence like all Hillary and Trump voters thought Hillary was going to win. They're as shocked to find DJT president-elect as everyone else.

Well a security firms identified know who the hackers are COZY BEAR and FANCY BEAR. And they have links to russia.

to respond to a suspected breach. We deployed our IR team and technology and immediately identified two sophisticated adversaries on the network – COZY BEAR and FANCY BEAR.
So they immediately identified sophisticated hackers... Doesn't sound very sophisticated if they were immediately identified...

I think she can deduct that loss as an expense - advertising costs.

I'm not sure. If they did I don't think he's coordinating with them. Wasn't it already known that one of the hackers was russian or did I make that up in my head?
