Is this going to stop Disney from putting out woke garbage, grooming kids, or hiring pedos? That's what I care about. I don't see how Disney dropping a lawsuit over the special district is going to change the content Disney produces.

lol, what? This had nothing to do with Disney’s politics.

It is entirely related to their emergency services and utilities (I can’t remember all the details) and their tax payments. Basically Disney was trying to do it all themselves and vastly underpaying, the state has made them settle and pay up.

Nobody hates DeSantis. Y’all are melting down about Trump, though. As evidenced by your post. Enjoy pulling the lever for Joe. Got him this time.

Disney vs DeSantis to me is like watching Auburn v Bama. They both lose and I'm happy.

I like Desantis. He is a top notch political operator in getting these actually done. In today’s political climate, finding people on the right that actually get things done to fight the left can be a challenge.

The FL State Legislature doesn't get enough credit. Comparing TX and FL Legislatures is a good way to see what where/how the Right is failing.

Looks like TX is working on it, so hope it pans out so our 2 largest states can be on the same page leading/supporting the other smaller ones. Like the left has CA and NY.

Thin skinned ronbots cant take any criticism of dear leader and his disaster of a campaign

I’m sorry but if you’re a “Trump or bust” guy you have no room to call anyone thin skinned. Trump is the most thin skinned presidential candidate in history. And I’m voting for him, too.

This is pretty indicative of what’s wrong with MAGA. Attacking their own. I’m voting for Trump, but this election will be close, and he’s running against an 82 year old man who doesn’t even know what year it is. Trump may have dominated the primaries, because his base is so loyal, but his cult is nowhere near large enough to win the GE. MAGA doesn’t care, they’ll insult everyone else on their side anyway unless they kiss the ring, just like thin skinned Trump. He actually has a chance to lose against the worst candidate of all time (and it’s not close). Let that sink in. And if he does lose, Trump’s cult will say “they cheated”.

Why do you feel the need to attack people who align with you politically? Oh, right, because your thin skinned cult leader does it.

Listen to yourself.

These people aren't real Republicans. They're liberals and moderates that have hijacked the party after we were kind enough to let them in. They view politics like WWE where they love people who post on social media and provide soundbites where they virtue signal and hate people who implement conservative policies.

These people hate DeSantis, Kemp, Reynolds, and Youngkin. Meanwhile, they love the following:

-Donald Trump: Life-long Manhattan liberal who says biological men can use women's restrooms, attacked pro-life Republicans, paraded around with a rainbow flag, sided with woke companies (Disney, Bud Light), and said Cuomo/Newsom did better than DeSantis on Covid.

-Kari Lake: Life-long Democrat who voted for Obama, advocated for a boycott after Hillary lost in 2016, has a long history of supporting drag queens and attending drag shows, and criticized Abbott/DeSantis for sending illegals to blue states.

-Vivek: Made money off of Pfizer, cried about January 6th in his book, sided with the media on "Don't Say Gay", and celebrated Juneteenth which is a fake holiday.

quote:

I hoped when he ran we would see an emerging personality to match his technical, political skills. We didn’t and it was his undoing.

This is the problem with all of these retards who have hijacked the party. They care more about personality than implementing conservative policies and getting shite done.

You know who else had a good personality? GWB and Bill Clinton, and we got an Iraq War and an adulterer who spent his time shoving cigars up the vags of underlings in the Oval Office.

If you prefer Kari Lake and Vivek over DeSantis, then you're not a Republican or a conservative. You're a retard who likes to be entertained.

We're fine with criticism, but we can't stand lies and leftist talking points. You're the same guy who DEFENDED Gavin Newsom against DeSantis when they were debating and refused to say if Newsom handled Covid worse.

quote:

Ron had the state legislature and Florida Supreme Court fully on his side.

Good candidates win General Elections and bring down-ballot Republicans across the finish line with them and then get to appoint Judges to the Court.

Trump does. Loomer does. Bannon does. Charlie Kirk does. Jack Posobiec does. Chris LaCivita does. Susie Wiles does. Steven Cheung does.

Or maybe, just maybe, he did his research (or paid someone to), understood the law and what he could and couldn't do, and chose a path with an extremely high chance of success. Maybe he's smart enough to avoid fights where the law isn't on his side.

I agree with you here, but if all three bodies aren't on the same side of an issue it is often a showstopper.

Take a look at Louisiana and Michigan where the legislatures voted to end states of emergency and mask mandates and the governors just ignored them.

You clearly do not read posts or you would understand... or you're a troll... or a complete idiot.

To help you out- Disney lost control . They lost by challenging the governor because they thought they were too big, important and could not be touched.

No that could never be the reason

I don’t claim otherwise.

I indeed have strong suspicions that DeSantis’ campaign was deliberately undermined by elements in the GOP establishment in an effort to cast doubt on DeSantis’ future emergence as the heir apparent of the MAGA movement.

Nobody on PT hates Ron DeSantis. Most of us will enthusiastically support him if he runs in 2028. Id be thrilled if Trump picks him as his running mate.

Trump is a buffoon, but he’s our buffoon. He is the father of American Populism (which is the only thing that can save our country). We will WIN the Hispanic vote in 2024 and be competitive with voters aged 18-30 and black men because Trump broke the old GOP and ushered in populism.
