Has directly knocked 1.8 million bpd of diesel out of the supply chain. Saying it isn't impacting the problem is simply a lie.

That's specific enough to have a link that goes with it.
Let's see it.

LINK
This article gives relatively conservative figures on Mid East exports. Keep in mind how much diesel and jet fuel overlap.
The heavy part of jet fuel can be blended into diesel and the light part of diesel can be blended into jet to an extent.

If I'm laughing at you, yeah.
So maybe you are.
That still would not change the fact that this Iranian war created this problem.

The Iran war isn't impacting this problem.
... which despite the misdirect is still the reason for 6dollar diesel.

Now youve seen it.
Middle East exports of diesel were higher by 50% than Russia before either war started. Roughly 1 million bpd for Russia and 1.8 million for the Middle East.

Your source is going to be disregarded as a bunch of fake numbers from a trash report by a liberal woke DEI university.

AIPAC won’t allow that.

This doesn’t solve the problem and stopping the war isn’t going to provide any difference in relief.

Honestly, I started on a reply and stopped. There's so much conflicting information about what is to blame for the price hikes I'm just not interested enough to sort it out. For example, the article you referenced said the same thing I did re: we have crude oil, we just can't refine it fast enough. It also said that Russia was the second largest exporter of diesel fuel behind the US in the world until it effectively banned exportation earlier this year due to their war, which doesn't make sense in light of the stat you posted about the Middle East vs Russia.
So I could be wrong abut the Iran war having little to no impact and simply don't care enough to find out in the face of all of the conflicting info.
Because even if I am wrong, we don't need to stop the war over it.

Nope. If nothing else your buddy proved with his link that it's a multi-faceted problem.
BTW, what is your understanding of the global effects of a nuclear exchange between Iran and Israel?
Because from what I have read, $6 diesel would sound like ice cream and cake if that were to happen.

Only one of them has nukes. Why would there be an exchange?

These clowns have enough money to do this themselves. Instead they’ve held out, straining the tax payers wallet, to get the free money from gvt. Hell, we’ve seen oil trade at higher prices per barrel before and it not be this high at the pump. Where is that extra money going?
you have zero clue wtf you are talking about.
when you talk about market forces, market uncertainty, price fluctuations all over the map and the crazy regulations....yea...stfu you have zero clue

Why is it that only one of them has nukes?

So now the anti-commie board wants to... Federalize private oil facilities?

The president asked Ukraine to stop bombing Russian refineries.
Why would Ukraine care what we ask? They are about to enter the 5th year of this war of aggression by the russians.

How about reducing the Federal Regulations to build and operate refineries?
Regulations impact construction costs and add to operation costs.
The California crap is due to fake greenhouse issues.
