This is to keep the bias from being revealed as long as possible.

I have to say that the use of this whistle blower mechanism by the Democrats is brilliant.

I’m just repeating what I heard on the news. The whistleblower fears for their safety and a $50,000 reward has been offered for the identity of the WB.

Sounds like the CIA.
Imo, this "whistleblower" will be revealed eventually. It takes time for an organization to alter someone's background, so that it can pass public scrutiny.

Here, I'll reveal their identity. The whistleblower is Sue Gordon. Look her up. They can hide fear of life to protect her disclosure, but it's clear the real reason they don't want her exposed is because it breathes life in the idea of her being a partisan hack.
I love how Trump has been a mirror to their actions. With Trump, it's all out on the table. With Sue Gordon, everything is obfuscated.
Here's the real reason the whistleblower's identity is being held back. The whistleblower was the one who changed the laws on Whistleblowing in the first place. Sue Gordon was in charge at the time. Notice how the dems are playing close to the vest on who and when those changes were implemented. Sue Gordon changed the rules, was passed over for the head of DNI and is now the whistleblower.
