I’ve been trying to figure out why this is a story. Aside from the fact that someone was listening in on Trump’s conversations, I don’t see any bombshells.

Let me see if I have this right:

Trump threatens to withhold aid to the Ukraine unless they re-open an anti-corruption investigation into Biden’s son. This was after it was shut down by the previous admin/Biden Sr. threatening to withhold aid unless they fired the man investigating him.

Am I missing something?

Surely the SS would know if someone bugged Trump’s phone. Was it an intentional leak to get it in the news? Lord knows they weren’t going to hold Biden to account otherwise.

Honk Honk I guess.

I prefer to use "bullshite" when referring to pretty much any scenario that you offer...

This is so nutty and contrary to evidence it’s staggering.

I hope we do see trump refuse to obey court orders from judges exerting extra constitutional authority. Otherwise, we’d have a constitutional crisis.

The whistleblower protection law seems to have not imagined a circumstance in which the DNI would withhold a complaint that the inspector general had deemed “urgent”. We seem to be having these assertions of absolute article II powers over laws which read that the executive "shall provide" x (whistleblower complaint, tax returns, etc.). We seem to have elected someone who believes he's immune from oversight. Congress is trying to get rulings in the courts, but they're slow as molasses. Hopefully, we won't see Trump refusing to obey court orders should they go against him because we'd truly be in a constitutional crisis at that point.

My God you are spectacularly delusional.

We just had someone who apparently was immune to oversight. That's why we're here now. Because apparently, straight up using the govt against your political opponents is DNC approved these days.

Should political allies only investigate each other? Should criminal and corrupt activity go unchecked until party allies are back in power to restore justice to their own cronies? I’m curious to understand how you think that might work. Hint: it doesn’t.

This shite is going to be hilarious when it turns out the subject matter is biden's corruption.

I guess some foreign leader could witness biden kill somebody and oh boy, the president better not ask about it!

They don't even want Biden to be the nominee. Now, they will eagerly rally around him and wear his corruption like a medal of honor because omb.

Real convenient to have that position now.

Kinda missed that stance of yours over the previous 5 years.

Abuse of Power (one of the articles of the Nixon impeachment) isn't actually a criminal offense.... That being said, it's clear that one party's floor is, what's the criminal statute? Not, is this behavior we want from a President.

Also, we'll see what more details come out but criminal violations can't be rule out right now. I'll wait for criminal experts to weigh in.

So, your answer is you do not know anything. Wow, just amazing your lack of intellectual curiosity and honesty. I know everyone on this board thinks you are just plain stupid but do you have to prove it post after post after post?
