Of course that applies to anyone and everyone, as far as I’m concerned, on any topic of debate, i.e. a single reason why a particular decision could be considered legitimate, even if one doesn’t necessarily agree with it. Myself included.
So you want people to speculate?
No problem. Someone decided the redactions were effed up and need to be corrected for an entire 47k file batch.
It could be victims’ info that needs to be properly redacted because it wasn’t done so correctly. That would be a legitimate reason to correct an egregious mistake.
Or it could be they want to further redact names of certain people who are embarrassed by the inclusion. That would be an illegitimate reason to protect powerful people.
Or it’s some combination of both.

If it's such a conspiracy then why the deletion?

You can’t think of a single reason? Maybe victims names were not redacted? It is idiotic to think documents that have been in the public domain can be put back in the bottle.

NC is a thousand times smarter than you. You’re making a fool of yourself.

There we go.
There WAS a reason. And it will never be properly or honestly explained. I suspect select files will also be memory-holed before most people can read all 3,000,000 files (minus 47,000) (or is it a total of 6,000,000 now?)
