No we have not. That's all in your head.

You are going to see a lot of new faces step forward over the next 4 years.

Weird, considering "disloyal" seems to apply to Trump personally...

If trump wins the gop nomination, I have already prepared for the possibility of entering some sort of rehab/institution, because I think I really would more likely than not harm myself, knowing that the dems and biden would be given control of all 3 branches easily, would repeal filbuster, and pass law after law. I have already explored my options in that regard, yes.

You're intentionally embarrassing yourself? Weird and weak.

I’ve been following politics since I was a founding member and vice-president of a College Republicans chapter at my college in 1983. I didn’t jump into politics when Donald Trump announced in 2015. Lord willing I’ll be around voting and bitching long after Trump is gone.

He is the option on the ballot right now . There are other guys who could be as good or better but are not on the ballot. I think people like Dave Ramsey , Joel Salatin and Jocko Willink would be great choices.

MAGA has been around a long time.

It's core group basically goes back to the TEA party.

It was also a campaign slogan by Reagan and Clinton (to a lesser extent)

From a policy standpoint what is about Trump policies that you don't like?

Huge spender

He will take a back seat to the admin state when told to

Uses the military when given the opportunity and, more importantly, relied on emotion, not logic, to make that decision

Promotes a lot of socialist economic policies like redistributive tariffs

Now that the GOPE has gotten most of their policy goals through (flipping SOTUS and the federal judiciary + tax/regulation cutes), he doesn't have much left he can actually get accomplished to decrease government

Has inefficient and expensive policies to solve the southern border crisis. The wall won't solve that problem. It's a rallying point and virtue signaling and not an intelligent policy.

Geez... slow down Dick Tracy. Things have been sliding downhill so fast the last couple of years in our country there is no telling what will come to pass in a year, much less 6 years. If Dems win in '24, America will be unrecognizable in '29 and it won't matter because there will be no turning back.

There’s a lot of overlap in the make up but the tea party was more about deregulation and lower taxes. MAGA is much more about populism which causes us to support things like tariffs and trade wars that would have been anathema to the leadership of the tea party. MAGA is also much more likely to be worked up over cultural issues rather than government spending

And Trump stealing GOPE ideas like lower taxes/regulation doesn't make it MAGA.

Tea Party was about smaller government

MAGA is about bigger government.

They're not the same thing policy-wise. Perhaps a lot of overlap in population, but that just speaks to the supporters who have no individualism or self-realized policy ideas.

Yes, but, sadly, the Tea Party was taken over by these types ultimately, too, like Michell Bachmann and her bullshite.
