He can’t negotiate until the Democrats give a counter offer. At this point their answer to funding CHIPS is no. They added nothing new to the bill. You walk away when there is no counter. You hear the counter offer. You don’t have to agree to it. You can still counter.
The Republicans have been bidding against themselves for 20 years.

The problem for the Dems is there is absolutely nothing that they could offer that would make me give the DACA illegal immigrants a way to vote outside of military service. I hope Trump and smart republicans agree with me. So i don’t see how this is ever resolved.

Schumer has said he offered the wall . But he didn’t say how much of the wall he offered.

Offer amnesty to DACA but they and any others that have received amnesty in the past can never vote and never receive welfare of any kind.
