Yes, exactly the people behind anti-vaccine propaganda across the board (not just COVID). They clearly don’t have a profit motive like Big Pharma.

This is unpopular but from er nurses in my family. If your vaccinated omicron isn’t causing hospitalization. It is causing death to those that are unvaccinated

Deaths usually lag a spike in cases by about 4 weeks and the reporting of deaths are generally 2-3 weeks behind. That means we probably won’t know the death impact from Omicron for 2-4 more weeks.

Deaths lag cases by 10 days. Deaths reporting is behind deaths by between 7 to 180 days.

It's the takeover of healthcare by the fed. We're at the door step of socialized medicine.

Having worked with nurses on a daily basis for the last 12 years of my career, the last group of people I would ask to translate their experience into data is nurses.

Wonder exactly what complication(s) are causing so much death with omicron? Because a poster one page back asserted that the word on omicron is that it doesn’t get down in the lungs or more accurately instigate pneumonia like delta did.

Anyone know? My cardiologist said tons of people were dying from omicron. I told him that was demonstrably false. I asked him to name 3 people. I ended up telling him to get effed after he denied that vaccines had caused cardiac problems for some people, my boss included. I have a rapid heart rate that hangs over 100 90% of the day, so I have some concerns about getting a booster that my hospital employer is forcing (the booster that doesn’t seem to work against omicron) Am I wrong about all this? Anyway, I searched out for a new cardiologist that wasn’t under the thumb of a hospital system, which are under the thumb of government. Appointment Monday. Hospitals are taking over practices everywhere so they all have to fall in line Seriously, wtf is going on. Why is he saying things like this? Do I have a legitimate concern here with my heart rate? What do doctors here think?

Odd bc my sister works for a cardiologist and word is that the booster is giving them more business than Covid ever did.

She calls it the kill shot.

Lots of people are dying with Omicron.

But virtually no one is dying from Omicron.

What here is confusing to you? How much more specific do you want?

You’re assuming deaths being reported today are from the omicron wave. Deaths being reported today could be from last week. Or from last August.

They’re not doing much to clarify that, which just seems strange.

I know of no deaths from omicron.

My wife started having heart problems shortly after 2nd shot. Might have been a coinkydink.

I saw my Dr. today. She never mentioned taking shot. First time in 2 years.

What’s the average time between a death and a reporting of a death by LDH? I would wager it’s longer than Omicron has been the dominant strain.

Well, covid has become a massive problem for the Biden administration, but as luck would have it, it looks like they’re gonna be able to start telling us that omicron et seq is and are no longer deadly. That Joe Biden I tell you, what a lucky fella. That said, of course they will also have you know that the unvaccinated are killing everyone else, sooo…..

Nobody is listening to that admin or Fauci/CDC. They have their defenders (30% according to polls aka 20%), but I’d bet the current “follow our science” crowd that is actually in step with the insanity is approaching single digits.

Depends on the state. In Missouri, the state is only reporting the probable deaths that are directly tied to Covid at the time of death. They add in the death certificate harvested ones later aligned to their date of death, not the date they were reported.

So Missouri had 3 probable Covid deaths yesterday. We are averaging 9k+ PCR+ cases per day. 29 deaths total in the last 7 days confirmed to Covid.

The difference is that we have a Republican Governor who isn’t trying to suck a Democrat’s dick somewhere.

I just found this link, but I just started looking:

US: Study shows Omicron 91% less likely to cause deaths compared to Delta variant of COVID
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC) data, the Omicron variant of COVID-19 has a mortality rate 91% lower than that of the Delta
