I’d love to see her SCOTUS spot be filled by Trump & pals, but I won’t celebrate terminal cancer no matter who has it.
This. The woman has already taken it on multiple times and won. Here's hoping she notches another victory on her belt.

I believe rbg wanted to retire years ago.. but she was probably pressured into staying.
So, a Supreme Court justice who put politics above everything.

She has had a storied life and career.
Putting politics and her personal belief above the Constitution only makes for a storied life and career among leftists.

Makes no sense for someone of her caliber to want to willingly stay on the bench until the day she literally dies.
So maybe her caliber isn’t what some would have us believe. You’ve already acknowledged that she put politics above what is best for the American people. It is widely acknowledged that she was an activist justice, applying the “living document” concept to the Constitution when she saw fit, and the Constitution as written didn’t support her position.

This x2.
However, if (for example) was Scalia, with a Democrat controlled Presidency & Senate, and no one in recent times had seen him, some left wing crazies would have broken in to get pictures of how poor he was looking.
Is she still of sound mind and body? (Her own words) If not, she should step aside.

She can't even hold her own head up or stay awake past 6 pm. Get to stepping, lady.

She's pretty evil, so she's probably going to live forever.

What’s Ginsberg’s prognosis?
Don't agree with many of her rulings or positions, but at least she is intellectually honest. E.g., she is a huge women's rights advocate, but openly states Roe v Wade was badly rendered. She has been uniquely publically supportive of Kavanaugh and Gorsuch as court members. More so TTBOMK than anyone but Thomas.
News reports said the medical team needed to insert a Biliary stent, a small tube to keep her common bile duct open. That insinuates local spread or encroachment of tumor. I believe they also said it had not metastasized elsewhere.
Sounds like Stage 2 Pancreatic Cancer.
As I posted a couple of days ago, it's a bad disease.
Not my area of expertise, but a 6-12 month prognosis would sound about right.

You’re a good person with a great heart.
I want her off the SCOTUS just aa badly as she want Trump dead.
I want her to live forever - until her time naturally arrives.
She is incapicated as a Justice on the SCOTUS. - she is a cadaver propped up in a chair - I want her space filled with a sentient being.
If her own hubris says she is going to become clinically dead before her body is removed, then so be it.
I want her arse out of the chair. - for the benefit of the CHILDREN!!!!
Now - I played the CHILDREN card - does that make me a good person?? Or is she a better person for being complicit in the murder of 10s of millions of babies because their 'mothers' didn't want to be 'inconvenienced' by their natural birth.

She died 8 months ago
Repeat rinse...

I disagree. Looking at her, they can probably pickle her with a quart bottle, but I suppose we should ask her taxidermist

Shes probably sitting in her living room eating cheetos. Her doc probably gave her a med marijuana card and shes hitting the bong as we speak

Agree on both accounts. I disagree with her political ideology 100%, but she is who she is and has never hid it. Of course I would like to see her replaced with a conservative, but I’m afraid it will be 100 x worse than Kavanaugh.
Agree that the biliary stent tells us her tumor is locally spread to the head of the pancreas which can cause obstruction of the bile duct leading to jaundice. This is often a palliative measure indicating her prognosis could be somewhat grim. Without more information it is hard to put a more definitive timetable, but I agree that 6-12 months is a good educated guess.

This isn't what the TV doctors or experts or medical press is reporting. These sources indicate it's a matter of cutting the bad parts out leaving the good. There is no sourced press story out there indicating a grim prognosis. As a layman it looks like she's good-to-go.

Her prognosis is weekend at Bernie’s until 2025

To be honest I'm not out there looking at every story I can get my eyes on. But the reporting from the clinic and around her is not stating her long term prognosis is poor. But again as a layperson, I think she will succumb to cancer as one in four of us will. In a round about way I'm saying the reporting is protective and disingenuous about her because she is an icon. But I still have sympathy for her as there but for the grace of God go I. Or in other words, knock on wood.
