A good friend of mine had 3 sons. The oldest used to try on his moms high heels and lipstick. Worried the hell out of my buddy. But fast forward to college and he was banging different women every weekend. Which is why it is crazy when you read about parents wanting and supporting sex changes for kids

This is a somewhat normal experience for children. When it happens, you simply don’t encourage the thought and let them know that their gender is not malleable. You encourage them to fit into society in ways that are appropriate while allowing them to express their individualism.

When I was 30 and my dad was 70 we were sitting on his front porch doing his favorite thing...looking at the sky.
Me: 'So, Dad, what would you have done if I had told you that I was gay?'

I guess that you could explain that you can't afford all of the medical costs and your insurance won't cover it so, if he really want's the change, you will do the surgical removal yourself at home. "Go get undressed and lay down on your bed while I go out in the yard and get a stick for you to bite on."
