Honestly, they probably would have banned slavery to avoid the importing of Africans into this country and also banned others- Mexicans and Latinos.

These dudes were from lily white aristocratic Europe.

When they said “all men are created equally,” i assure they were not talking about those with a permanent tan- they fricked up with their verbiage and I would argue if they knew then what is going on now they would have taken appropriate steps to clean up the language that they used so as not to have it stretched beyond what they really meant.

Anyone that thinks the founding fathers intended or wanted a melting pot society with the ones not looking like them being out breeded is sorely mistaken.

They would meet the invaders of our country with gunfire rather than a building a wall piece by piece over 30 years.

Clinton would March a much smaller army into Waco...well you see where I am going.

Obama would fly a plane load of cash into Iran to...Obama would secretly arm the Mexican cartels to...wait one of these is not like the others.

They wouldn’t be happy with ceding such power to the executive branch. I think history makes that clear

They would be appalled that Congress meets as much per year as they do!

They would be appalled that States no longer have hardly any rights.

None of the States would have ever ratified our constitution if they knew that the 10th Amendment would be defacto ignored

Andrew Jackson would March the illegals to Oklahoma in a trail of tears—telling the Supreme Court to enforce its own laws LOL

Yup.

It's just hilarious though that AGAIN, the left suddenly discovers that executive powers should be limited. Hell, that govt powers should be limited.

And, I'm all for that. But that ship has frickin sailed and, at this point, the left wants the right to unilaterally disarm.

I'm not a fan of nukes either, but, listening to the left tell me about how executives shouldn't bypass congress is like listening to the Soviet Union telling me about how you shouldn't have nukes.

Hamilton would have loved an income tax as would Adams

That seems a bit of a stretch. Anything specific to back it up? Hamilton loved him some war and banks, but I don't recall anything about a personal income tax.

They would detest them, but only because we let it get to this point. They warned of letting those without “skin in the game” vote.

Yeah. Honestly. If they all woke up today and laid eyes upon the size of our govt, the complete elimination of the 10th, the hilarious interpretation of the commerce clause and someone said, "hey, what do you think of this Emergency Powers Act"...……….they'd be like, "are you fricking serious...…...THAT is what concerns you in all this!!!"

They'd probably be pretty upset that Obama used federal law enforcement agencies to spy on political opponents.

My guess is they would view being invaded by illegal immigrants flooding across the southern border as being an emergency.

Because it is. Build the wall

Well the milita would have been given free reign to defend its boarders.
The English forces the Indians west and north into Canada, the US the continued with western expansion forcing the Indians into reservations or mass death.

I'm a firm believer people will do whatever they are allowed to. If the US enforces the laws the drugs and illegals would slow to a trickle.

Jefferson was a man who wrote one way and acted another. He is one of the biggest hypocrites in American history.

Oh. I got that but the OP asked it for a reason and that's to create a red herring.

OP could give a rat's frick about what the founders think of our current government's use of power.

OP asking that question is about like a rapist asking why "Baby it's cold outside" is OK to sing.
