Keeping what I have. I'm retired and have no way of replenishing the kitty. If the socialists come after what I have, one of us will die.

I'd like to see a return to the days when sports writers covered sports.

The Bill of Rights. And the fact that I am concerned about it is a travesty.
It should be something that all Americans cherish and should always be sacrosanct. But these sick democrats want to abolish freedom of speech (and of course guns).
For me, it’s this.

The coordinated attempt to take down the U.S.A. as we know it.

because of the BLM movement
my biggest passion is that the fatherlessness issue plaguing the black community be addressed.
we can't move forward until all children, but in this situation, black children have better environments to grow up in...
this is 2 or 3 generation that will require a revolution of sorts
can we start now?
or do we have to keep treating symptoms while trying to drag everyone else down?

2nd Amendment. The left wants to gut it because it's conservatives' last line of defense against their tyranny.

Getting all big/dark money out of politics. Regardless of what side you're on---with any issue---elected officials will continue to serve large donors, not the interests of the people they're supposed to serve.

Extending unemployment. With governors closing things left and right, you will see an instant recession on Aug 1 if the federal unemployment isn't extended
So why not be passionate about Governors not closing things left and right?

I want news media to be held accountable for false or misleading news. I want the use of “sources close to” to be outlawed from journalistic media and want articles that are based on unnamed sources to be clearly marked as opinion pieces.
I want national news media outlawed from showing or using twitter for a story. Particularly when that video is from some unnamed citizen and the video is only 30 seconds removed from being posted. No way that’s enough time to verify the legitimacy of the content and it should not be used in national media.
I want local media to be banned from asking twitter posters for the rights to the videos they post. They are often small snippets of a larger event where mere opinion or the direction of a narrative is the only conclusion.
If a news story has a retraction or an update, it needs to have the word retraction in capital letters in the headline and the retraction and the explanation for the retraction to be at the very top of the article, instead of at the end with no explanation. I also think each news organization should have their retractions counted and tracked and made available to the public and each reporter who has a retraction made to their reporting also to have those tracked. When a certain number of retractions is made and attributed to a particular reporter, that reporter cannot publish any additional articles and are required to go through additional training or until they have proven they can practice more responsible reporting up to the discretion of the editors.
That’s what I want to see. I could go on. But I think we need to put measures in place to return journalistic integrity to the profession. I don’t want to stifle free speech. It’s fine if an organization wants to use twitter and whatnot but they shouldn’t be labeled a news organizations and the word “news” shouldn’t be allowed to be used in the organizations name.

Once again, you read my posts and come to the opposite conclusion.
