Knowingly defacing timeless and priceless art should carry that immediate punishment.

Seen that before. What is it from?

The protests we're talking about are purposely out to block traffic. If their numbers aren't great enough to fully block all the lanes, they will purposely move to be in your way.

If they are purposely putting themselves in your path, it should be legal to run them over as they are knowingly and purposely walking out into the roadway in order to impede traffic. This endangers not just them, but the driver and their passengers as well. Also, we've seen people torn from vehicles during these exchanges so there's no reason to believe any such encounter won't escalate to such a level. In other words, running them over in such a context should be considered self-defense.

superglue themselves

Leave them there, form a perimeter around them to keep others from giving them assistance. Let them have to piss and shite themselves until they beg to be released from their own mistake.

Fair enough, but if they move to remain in my way, that’s on them.

In my humble opinion, if you're blocking a road, you should be arrested.

Rodney King their asses. But since the cops won't do their jobs, we should be able to run them over.

I think the economic impact should be roughly estimated and they should be charged for the cost. And if it's proven someone directly died from the disturbance, they should be charged with some form of manslaughter.

If a protestor would superglue himself or herself to the road, I say treat them as though they're part of the road...and drive on over them. If they get hurt the hospital is near!

Any idiot that purposely stands in front of a moving vehicle deserves to be run over. Why not?????

Let people suffer the consequences of their choices. There is nothing unjust about that.

Why arrested?
What lesson/detriment is conveyed?
If the person wants to be run over, run em over.
Why should their stupidity impede on other folks attempting to get somewhere?

Traffic will be backed up longer if you kill rather than throw them in the back of a patrol car.

I won't claim to know what would be an appropriate punshment. I'll let the lawmakers handle that. But in my opinion they should be held accountable.

However, I do not promote violence, especially running through / over them.

Based on this one story by the Boston Globe, if you choose to use your vehicle to move them you have close to a 50% chance of getting charged; approximately 25% chance of being charged with a felony.

Feel free to correct me if my maths is wrong. I also think this story is dated, so I don't know if it's changed.
