What Red City will boom due to NYC, LA, Seattle refugees?

Miami is the obvious choice here, but billionaires are always looking for where they can plant the next flag and get favorable deals.

The next 3 years could be a boon for the South honestly.

L.A. is about to reelect Bass even though Pratt should have a chance. Once that’s final, billionaires and mega millionaires might flee CA even more.

Seattle is already chasing off its big entities to the south, see Starbucks

Mamdani just got his 2nd home property tax approved and now can in some cases steal properties from people so expect some NYC cast offs.

Would be cool if Nola could get a few.
Nola is already liberal so not like the voting pattern would change, but maybe some investment would help the area.

Are there any large cities that could be considered “red?” Maybe Huntsville, AL.

Between 2019 and 2023, Florida saw a net gain of $137 billion in income from other states, according to Miami Realtors’ analysis of IRS migration data.

That was only from 2019-2023.

It doesn’t include the Google-Amazon-Starbucks wealth that happened after that period.

Houston is blue, in a red state. So that's off the table

I live in North Texas. Why would anyone move to Houston and the swamp arse humidity there is befuddling. It's an ugly city with their hodgepodge of business and residential lack of zoning.

We're full over here in Texas. Liberals need not apply.

That city is basically Portland. It does have the benefit of being in a very red state.

Houston is a big center for the oil industry. I know a lawyer who moved there and is making a ton of money in a firm that specializes in defending oil companies against environmental lawsuits by left wing organizations.

Are Nashville and Houston still red? Columbia SC in particular is in a good spot.

along with Dallas/FW and Salt Lake City

You can add Charlotte and several other NC cities.

They will move, and they'll vote for the same shite again, saying "we'll make it work this time, I swear!" and in twenty years wherever they moved to will be NYC, LA, and Seattle mk. 2.

I get that. My cousin has a pretty large accounting firm specializing in the energy sector. She moved there to start her business. Outside of for work, my question remains.

It'll be Nashville. That city is already becoming very screwed politically.

Wherever they go, they will look down on the people there, then vote in the same garbage they ran from.
