True. You could argue it takes more courage to speak your mind when you have something to lose vs when you’re on your way out the door.

I mean don’t forget the reason Trump, for better or worse, was able to separate himself from the field was because he was willing to say what others wouldn’t. The Republican debate where everyone agreed to concede if they lost but Trump wouldn’t was first example I remember.
You can argue he was full of shite if you want but he certainly wasn’t speaking from a list of pre approved narratives and that is what gave him credibility and appeal.

Correct. And most contain an element of government or media deception.

If the US govt doesn't want conspiracy theories, maybe explaining things properly will lead to less misinformation.

I think he was right to a similar extent that Hillary was in alleging the "vast right-wing conspiracy" and Nixon fulminating about people out to get him in private. I think the reason neither Bill nor Nixon alleged conspiracies against them in public was the norm that goes along with taking the Presidential Oath of Office that you're subject to the laws just like everybody else and alleging a conspiracy by lawful things like wire-taps approved by judges are just something Presidents might have to button their lips and put up with. And he got his chance to run his CT's to ground via investigations of the investigators (IG and special counsel investigations). Ultimately, I guess history will judge who was more justified in their conspiracy allegations. Trump's isn't done yet.

Well, when their government lies to them on a consistent and repeated basis, and those lies are easy to see, it don’t help.

The media gave you the term ‘qanon’. Then a fool like you used it without realizing there is Q and the Anons. They seem to right about a lot of things so far. You should go back to sleep. Deep thoughts aren’t your forte.

You researching something then intentionally waiting a few weeks to post it, then tell us that, is gonna make me a conspiracy theorist.

I’m putting my money on the one who was extensively surveilled for 6 or so years, no knock raid on private residence, far reaching investigations using the full force and weight of the government, was apparently caught up in a scheme to deny him all important social media access, and so on and so forth. Hell is there some definitive or realistic or even identifiable case we could perhaps reference as a result of all that? I don’t even think I can cite anything certain. Anyhow, I’m going with that one.

Is this anti-Trump circle jerk winding up here or what? Where are we at in this thing today?

Next thing you know you’ll be telling me that the government started the war on drugs as cover for the CIA shipping drugs into the country, especially the inner city, in order to finance the sandanistas in South America!

Or that they sold guns to the cartels in Order to prove that American guns would get into the hands of the cartels unless the government took control of them

Crazy talk man.

Next thing you know you’ll be trying to tell me the FBI was colluding with twitter in order to silence and stifle their opposition at the behest of the DNC.
