The type of person who depends on the enternally lazy to shore up their electoral chances with promises of more gibs.

They NEED a bloated, inconsistent welfare state.

So yeah, leftists in general and Democrats in particular.

4chubbies will be along shortly to tell you how it’s unfair, onerous, inefficient, hateful and in all ways un-Christlike to expect Americans to do anything for their benefits.

I have so many examples of this unfortunately...

My brother and I used to maintain a way too big garden... we enjoyed it and it gave our kids a way to earn some money during the summer tending the garden and selling the produce roadside... We always produced more than we could ever sell or eat or can... We would tell local churches to tell some of the more unfortunate in their congregation to come pick all they needed... Some showed up but not enough to take the surplus so we would pick it and ride through areas and give it away... We did that for several years until one day I had a woman with several kids say "nah, we don't want no peas unless they are shelled".... I told my brother on the ride home that was it and I would feed the damn peas to the cows...

Some folks would rather lay down next to work and die than put forth a minimal amount of effort... Those folks need to be cut loose from society and allowed to fade away...

They don't even have to *work*... I believe I read it is an 80hr/mo working OR volunteering.
This sounds like something out of North Korea. Pay pennies on the dollar for labor. A person making minimum wage earns way more than $187.00 per month.

I don't get it...??

I used to volunteer about 10hrs a week at my son's elementary school and an additional 10+ hours at church between mom's day out, wednesday nights and sunday mornings.

Vote buying, plain and simple. Get you on the govt dole, then use scare tactics every election cycle stating the opponent is going to take away your welfare.

Reasonable people believe in reasonable work requirements.
The problem is that many on Medicaid are at least partially disabled.
The paperwork and bureaucracy to demonstrate compliance apparently can be far more than inconvenient. It can delay or even eliminate crucial coverage for deserving recipients.

Which one of you thinks it's a problem to expect an able-bodied adult to have to put in a few hours of work to qualify for benefits? They don't even have to work full-time. What is your problem with that?

There is ZERO reason that people who work and pay taxes should be taxed and forced to pay entitlements to people who are able (mentally and physically) to work but choose not to.

ZERO REASON.

Cut. That. shite. Off.

Some people don't expect an able-bodied adult to need an ID for voting. Imagine thinking they should actually work a few shifts....... the horror.

It all boils down to I don't have what you have and its just not FAIR.

At some point we as a nation are going to have to accept once again, that we are not all created with equal abilities. Democrats and leftist have latched on to the lies that we are all the same and that if I don't have what you have, its because I was discriminated against, and you are a racist, sexist, evil human being. It triggers the emotionally hapless individuals like cubbies and brainwashes them into being completely useless.

Human civilization didn't evolve the way it did by accident, and at some point we need to accept that. If everything was taken away and we all started from scratch, 1000 years later the same bloodlines would be in the same positions they are now. Party of science.

As long as it doesn't subject working people to additional unnecessary requirements and paper work to get the benefits I'm fine with he requirements. But inevitably just like business regulations will put more burden on people and put more cost out providing services and into administrative cost of the service....
