What is wrong with Project 2025?

I am going to print out the entire document and read it over the next few weeks (its alot). But from what I have read, it seems pretty based and like a good plan. Why are we supposed to not like it?

It's the chosen boogeyman by the left, per their daily talking points. Trump could cure cancer and they'll moan like bitches because he'd make "overpopulation" worse.

The Democrats have put out a bunch of fear mongering lies and they want to connect Trump to them. Trump was smart to dissociate from them.

You can save a lot of time by reading this, instead of 887 pages.
Yes, it's a NY Times link, but if your gonna read 887 pages you might as well read these two first and make of note about where theres are in it (it criticizes the plan, but also describes it, the writers, and process, pretty interesting to read).
NYTimes - Everyone getrs five free articles a month so unless you used yours up - here you go

1) it’s a threat to our democracy.
2) it puts blacks back in chains
3) the gays have to go to re-education camp.

Funniest part is that they're so adamantly and successfully tying Project 2025 to Trump, and heavily insinuating that it is his direct agenda. I just commented this on my liberal cousin's post about Trump/A25 and she quickly deleted the comment and then blocked me from commenting again.
That's what happens when liberals fail to manipulate you- they silence you.
Anyway, Trump is running on "Agenda 47", not Project 2025.
But to answer the OP's question, I really don't know why they think I should be opposed to it. I'll admit I've only seen the truncated explanations of each point, but from that alone it sounds like a solid plan to me. Perhaps we can implement it after a national divorce, because the liberals will burn the country to the ground before they'll allow it.

They're trying to say it's something to do with Trump but they are the ones shilling it

Its more socially conservative than I would prefer, but the concept is a very solid one.
Use the institutions the left has wielded against the right for 100 years and when you gain power wield it assertively.

Personally, I signed up for it.
Have yet to go through training though.
The main thing I hear is that the org is pro life (why ppl don’t like it).
The left and traditional bureaucrats hate it cause the organization vows to replace them.

Well another poster on this board says the exact opposite - here is a link to his post -

The Streisand Effect is tremendous. How many mainstream Americans even knew about the Heritage Foundation until the left's MSM transcriptionists started screeching incoherently about it?
My only concern with Agenda 47 is that if they 25A Biden and make Heels Up Acting FauxTUS, that'll frick with all the POTUS numbers.

Kevin Roberts, president of the conservative think thank responsible for Project 2025, a right-wing agenda for the next Republican president, is a native of Lafayette and founded John Paul the Great Academy in Lafayette, where he still serves as chair emeritus of the school's board.
Project 2025 is a collection of conservative, right-wing policies outlining a proposed agenda for the Republican presidential candidate should he be elected in November and seated in January 2025.
The agenda set by Project 2025 and other conservative groups calls for dismantling some of the federal government's top agencies and firing civil servants who would be replaced by loyalists of former President Donald Trump if he is elected.
Roberts said this week on "Real America's Voice," a streaming, cable and satellite television channel that hosts Steve Bannon's "The War Room," that the country is in the middle of a second American Revolution "which will remain bloodless if the left allows it to be."

It comes from the heritage foundation. It includes initiatives to ban abortion, porn, and contraceptives nationwide as well as eliminate any and all protections for LGBTQ people. It seeks to massively increase the power of appointed councils while actively reducing the responsibility and power of the president and gutting administrative agencies (particularly those with respect to education and environmental protection) while making positions even more based on political loyalty. It seeks greater military intervention abroad and more power and funding to intelligence agencies.
It’s basically the political manifesto of anti-Trump neocons and social conservatives, but Trump is being blamed for it by the media despite disavowing huge stretches of it.

I caught part of Don Jr's where he was asked about that.
Basically, it's not Trump's plan is all DJT was saying. They aren't associated. There may be some good stuff in it, maybe not, maybe some good people at the Heritage Foundation.. maybe not.
He did mention the possibility of it being a grift (his word). Fear mongers and grifters on both sides working the donations.
Paytriots may have been the word he was looking for.

So you support locking up folks on Only Fans? Should X (Twitter) be shut down for facilitating the spread of pornography.....? what say you freedom loving conservatives?
Just to add notice how the author does not distinguish between supposed sexually oriented materials that maybe be available to children in libraries and pornography that is produced by adults for adult consumption. These are two very different things imo and I think most Americans would agree.

Pornography, manifested today in the omnipresent propagation of transgender
ideology and sexualization of children, for instance, is not a political Gordian knot
inextricably binding up disparate claims about free speech, property rights, sexual
liberation, and child welfare. It has no claim to First Amendment protection. Its
purveyors are child predators and misogynistic exploiters of women. Their product
is as addictive as any illicit drug and as psychologically destructive as any crime.
Pornography should be outlawed. The people who produce and distribute it should
be imprisoned. Educators and public librarians who purvey it should be classed
as registered sex offenders. And telecommunications and technology firms that
facilitate its spread should be shuttered.
