Anyone who is not a Democrat... is a racist.


Think about the level of conditioning that was required for our society to get to this stage.

Someone can imply that black nondemocrats should he rounded up and "reeducated"...and the major social pillars(universities, media) of our nation don't even bat an eye.

it really raises the question of what they actually think their chosen society will be like and how they get there

the scary part is that these "white" cultural ideals are adaptable to anyone, so how do you prevent that from occurring again? it ain't pretty

Capitalism doesn't care what color you are. It very unfairly benefits the intelligent and hard working. It punishes the stupid and lazy. But that has nothing to do with color.

even then, i want to know what these societies without the influence/expectations of whiteness will look like

i want them to paint this picture for me. THEN we can ask them where they will be within that society (it won't be in the fields i agree)

but that's an actual racial component. this thread isn't about actual races or ethnicities

A co-worker and I had a sobering conversation last week.

She’s a very typical liberal from Austin. Grew up in east Texas but escaped to UT and lives in Austin now. Open minded and fair to talk politics with.

She was talking about how she found out her best friend from HS, who is a Trump supporter, is dating a black guy who is also a Trump supporter and that just really messes with her pre-conceived notions about all Trump supporters. She just can’t reconcile that fact.

Then I told her, while not rabid, I am a Trump voter. I then asked her if I’m her 2 years of knowing me, does she think I’m a racist or hate anybody?

She said no, you’re always kind and patient to everybody we interact with and one of the best people I’ve ever worked with.

I told her that she’s going to have to do a lot of reconciling the fact that her friend is a Trump supporter, the black guy she’s with is a Trump supporter, and I’m a Trump voter. Either we’re all racist and hateful or there are other factors that come up when we vote. I get there are things you don’t like about Trump or republicans and most of them are fair. But you’re going to have to figure out that the media and your preconceived notions can be wrong and cost you friendships if you don’t.

I can genuinely tell that she was entirely shocked and didn’t know what to do with this.
