Hopefully medicals are using paper for back up at their specific locations. Not good to rely on only computers.

Of course there's always back up plans...
Going back the to the ancient paper charting days.
Things that are going to suck is stuff like x-rays, everything is digital now, there's no more hanging images on an x-ray reader board anymore.

The company I work for got hit with ransomware by the Black Cat organization last May. We didn't pay so we had to start over on the Cloud.
We purchased Crowdstrike's protection and they have caught Black Cat trying to reenter our system seven more times.
I certainly know who they are relative to the DNC hack, but without Crowdstrike, our family-owned company would have likely been crushed by another ransomware attack.
