Per Twitter, FaceBook and all other Leftist Tech it is an identifier for dangerous thoughts and terrorism.

The man or woman asked for a definition. I gave him one. Trump lives in your head.

Greed is subjective.

But a patriot defends the constitution and understands the value of freedom, the proper function of government, and the concept that their rights extend to the point that they do not hinder or deny another person's rights.

It's not that hard a concept to grasp.

It obviously differs per nation. If your nation's prevailing values include individual liberty, then you should be able to derive the definition from that.

No greed really isn’t subjective. I joined the Army at 17 and serve 2 tours before getting out at 21. Because of that post 9/11 served my undergrad I didn’t foist it on my fellow citizens. Just an example

So now we are trying to redefine what it means to be a Patriot, not the OP per se but the thought police.

Pretty scary

My great uncle who died on a beach in Normandy was a patriot as were my grandpa and Uncle Tex. They were Marines who fought the Japanese. My Uncle Tex was shot and played dead while they came through and bayoneted all the Americans they shot. Those were patriots.

Patriots go fight for their country when they’re asked, to. They defend their country and her honor from those who would attack it... including enemies from within.

Patriots don’t get draft deferments then play Fortunate Son.
