What Has Trump Done Wrong Re: Covid?

Beaten to death, I know, but I'm asking because I'm an ignorant person who studied business in college and avoided science like the plague.
Based on what we're seeing in Europe, many of the countries had far more restrictive lockdowns and are now having to deal with increased cases far out pacing our own rate.
Where are the death per capita totals significantly less than what we're seeing here? What diversified populations have been able to stave off loss of life and infection?
I am asking because I genuinely want to know. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills listening to idiots blame the president for EVERY SINGLE DEATH that's tied to covid. I want to know... who did it right because Biden's plan of masks and more lockdowns certainly doesn't appear to be the answer.
Clearly sending infected into nursing homes was not a sound decision - thanks New York. But what is the president supposed to do better? And show me where those types of decisions were made elsewhere in the world and what the effect of those decisions were. Not being rhetorical, I'd really like to know.
What was the best strategy for a nation of this size, with the specific medical issues that are prevalent throughout large swaths of our population?

No matter what he had done, he would be attacked by those trying to get him out of office. Trump stops all flights from China on 1/31 and is blasted for being xenophobic.
Pelosi would have killed many more if people followed her come on down to Chinatown lead.

Apparently not enough science? Maybe he needs to yell more. Or some car horns?

Ramping up testing was a double-edged sword.

The man is Orange. The man is bad.

He shut down incoming travel from China, which was racist. Also, he didn’t close the borders fast enough.
He killed the economy by implementing lockdowns. Also, he didn’t do enough to slow the spread of the virus and acted like it was no big deal.
He hasn’t produced a vaccine yet. Also, we shouldn’t trust a vaccine that is approved under his administration because it will have been rushed.

Hw gave credence to their political nonsense. He should have called out any shut downs from the get go and labeled masks as retard signs. They were going to blame him with made up numbers either way, so may as well stand with truth and real science.

Had an R in front of his name on the ballot.

Nothing he could do really any differently IMO. Voting Trump but I just cringed every time he made remarks on twitter how it was just nothing basically , didn’t effect many people etc. He kinda alienated everyone who had a loved one die or suffer from Covid

Honestly he played in the Dem's hands by allowing the Country to shut down to the extent he did.
Trump should have said in March:
"If you are high-risk or feel you are more susceptible to the virus, I encourage you to stay indoors and use whatever measures you feel are necessary - people are smart enough to assess their own situation and determine what they need to do to protect themselves. We are not going to destroy the greatest economy in 40 years over mass hysteria"

I think he has done extraordinarily well regarding chinavirus.

His mistake in every situation has been simple: being the president. He’s made mistakes, but that’s essentially what most complaints come down to. TDS is real.

horseshite.
He gets attacked either way, and let's not pretend there was a winning recipe here. Countries all over the world took different approaches and we are all pretty much in the same position in terms of cases.
If the media had ANY interest in being honest, they'd forget about case counts as long as system capacity remains, and focus on the slow and steady reduction of deaths rates and ACCURATE death reporting.
We also need to be realistic about what this virus is not. It is NOT dangerous enough to warrant lockdown actions, or even mask mandates.

And Fauci talked out of both sides of his mask. Don’t wear mask in Jan and Feb to April, wear Mask. It is bullshite like this being used against the President. He has handled it as well or BETTER than anyone. Just the Democrat Armchair Monday morning QB bullshite that is being eaten up by Karens and their concubines!

Giving Fauci the platform he did.
Posted on 10/29/20 at 9:21 am to SCTmo
Pushing for a vaccine, allowing shutdowns at all and allowing mask mandates are all I can really blame him for.
I think he had to let the CDC do its thing sot he public could see with their own eyes how corrupt the CDC is.

Running for reelection against a dying party whose failing policies have them throwing the kitchen sink in an attempt to defeat the bad, orange man.
