What has the Bad Orange Man done to "politicize" the 250 year celebrations?

I've seen a lot of people spouting this narrative, and as rationale for why even washed up D list celebs can't be involved, and why others generally aren't as excited to be a part of any number of celebrations.
I'm not exactly sure what they are referencing that's he's done to do this, though.

Not really. I think some of the stuff he does is great. Some of it stupid. I'd prefer not to pay attention to the crash outs he has on truth social. It's mostly nonsense anyway and likely just engagement bait to drive traffic.

why do you assume the word rally constitutes specific campaign messaging? Especially when the potus is termed out.
