He's been a grifter since Day 1 but you didn't realize it because you were one of the grifted. Same as MTG.

Yup. I was naive and believed there was a right and wrong side. I co-founded a chapter of College Republicans in 1983. Hosted campus debates. Posted fliers on car windshields at games. None of it fricking matters. Such a patsy.

Don't need all the details, but what progressive policy or politician does Tucker support?

Of course, he has said that he can't support Republicans because he thinks the party isn't America First enough. He has been very clear that he can't support Democrats.....

Tucker Carlson's June 2026 appearance on the “Can't Be Censored” podcast.

The key passage is Carlson saying:
“There’s no chance I would support the Republican Party.”
He then immediately added that he would not support the Democratic Party either, saying, “I don't know what I'm going to do.”

He doesn't support Trump's massive blunders or worship the state of Israel. Therefor...and there is no logic behind this at all. He is of course somehow progressive now.

Would that apply to our president or no?

The Tucker you see today is not the one you once knew. Tucker has learned the long, hard lesson most people who make a living in social media learn: it's all about engagement. He can say something you agree with and you might "heart" it and move on. Or he can say something you disagree with, and then you rage-post. Thus, welcome to the all new, nutball Tucker. He used to be a bastion of truth. A REAL light in the darkness. Now he's amazingly anti what you'd never have expected him to be.

The more engagement he gets, the more he gets paid. So this sudden change is far less about legitimate ideology shifts and more into a sole quest to make more money.

Finally, you all need to recognize this kind of stuff. Please stop being so stupid.

Given the past two years where republicans controlled the House, Senate, and Presidency and accomplished nothing in turning back the corruption and fraud exposed during biden's term - that is actually a pretty sensible position.

If you keep voting for what you don't want you will be sure to get it. If the Dems weren't batshit crazy, I could risk voting third-party.

That's me 100%. But Tucker definitely comes off as a sellout to Muslim/middle eastern interests. And he was getting deep into demon/alien stuff prior to that shift. I think that he's losing it. It's disappointing, because he was great for a nice stretch after he left Fox News.
