They start defunding paramedics? When people get shot in the streets there will be no paramedics out there to save them?
What happens when they start defunding firemen? When they get in a car wreck Or a fire there will be no firemen to help him out?

The paramedics are not going to go to a crime scene with out the cops .

All they need to do in Portland is just go on strike in the downtown area. Just say they lack the equipment needed and don't have the backing of the local government so they are going to stay out of the area. Lets see how this works out.

Alert the local media that due to lack of adequate staffing, because of quits and injuries, they lack the actual manpower to do anything other than take reports and defend their stations. As a result, all they will do is write down calls into 911/stations and defend themselves from being burned alive.
