I only feel comfortable posting this because his brother Tuba had posted a link to the article after it happened.

I miss LosAngelesTiger. Also died.

Met him also on several occasions when working in Los Angeles. He and his partner Ralph were very friendly. They invited me to their home for Easter in 2008. He was one of the leads of the LSU alumni chapter in that area and helped organize the LSU watch parties at a bar in Manhattan Beach. Definitely had some good times there.

Yeah only reason I even feel comfortable sharing it is because Tuba had posted a link to the article on the OT after it happened.

Yes. Never met him but met his brother many years ago. I think there was another poster from Arizona there with us that night.

I think he and his wife moved to Richmond at some point. But when I last saw him he had a place in Virginia Beach.

And lib or not he would be one of the most intelligent people on this forum if he still posted here.

Odd thing was his wife was super conservative. They were both very kind people IRL

I didn't agree with Rex on pretty much anything but he always seemed like a genuine guy I wouldn't mind getting a beer with. So long as he didn't wear his dog costume.

He was a cool guy. Seemed genuine and sincere, and was upfront about him being gay, but conservative.

Tuba last visited TD in Sept 2024

Rex has been dead for quite a while. I had a nice lunch with him in St Martinville LA about 2006ish and he was a very nice man.

LA and I are both TGBFTL Alums and played the same instrument. I spoke to him several times offline and we had plans to meet for lunch in LA but we never did.

We accused Toddy of being Sheperd Smtih many times. He last visited TD in Nov 2024
