It tells me that human populations are clustered around coasts, and that the whole world is night at the same time.

True life cool story. A friend of mine comes home and every light in the house is on. He goes from one room to the next hunting his wife yelling "Why the hell are all the lights on? When he finds her in the bedroom, she wheels and fires two shots from a .38 barely missing his noggin. He says, "Ok, you can keep all the lights on."

He says wife #2 isn't so trigger happy.

Australia looks weird to me. Too many lights in the Great Sandy Desert and not enough on the coast.
