I just commented about this in another post. It's just about every commercial now, it's like they're trying to trap someone into objecting. Way over the top demographically. More power to em if they think it'll increase sales

I think we're at the tail end of the race-baiting movement. Likely to have an increasing negative effect.

People are tired of being lectured to.

love it. Bout time the straight white guys get in on the action and not just be the bumbling clown in every commercial

Yeah that’s actually a fair point. At least we aren’t incels in every single advertisement now that we’re getting some brown sugar

My favorites are where the husband smiles idly on as his wife snuggles up to the friend on the couch.

That is not interracial. Hispanics are Caucasian.

Pretty much every "black" woman they use is light skin or mixed-race anyway... Plus they make sure they are all attractive so who cares....

I am honestly irritated by the advertising agenda when I can count 80-90% of commercials are focused on minority characters. I have always been about equal representation which hovers around 10-12% black and 12-15% Latino.......that is far far less than what ad agencies are doing. The interracial couple push only validates my irritation.

No. There is not a predominant amount of mixed couples circulating as they’d have you believe through commercials. Now, do interracial couples bother me? No way, but stop with the indoctrination and bullshite......

It doesn’t bother me, but I definitely don’t see it in real life much.

These attempts by media and hollywood to indoctrinate people into believing interracial, gay, etc relationships are as typical as same race and sex relationships does more to segregate people than unify them.

I missed them. Why do I care who is with who in a mixed relationship? I watch very little television.

These are stuffed into every form of media. This I do not agree with in my personal beliefs. It is their choice, albeit not a spiritually healthy one. Most of it is as posters say, to normalize it in society.

bullshite! First, you flocked to this thread so take your dung heap of self righteousness elsewhere! Next, to act like you don’t see the color of the individuals in an ad, that’s just a lie. You see all the imagery in the ad. The ad companies specifically place certain imagery for you to notice or they would not run the ad in the first place. They design ads to be memorable. You’re just trying to pass a load of shite over on some of us who know that’s what you’re doing to toot your horn and attempt to come off as better than everyone else. You’re not as clever as you think you are.

I agree completely! It is because the way they do it is contrived and disingenuous thus is tied into trying to insult our intelligence to push an agenda.

I have a thing for the brown women so this trend doesn’t bother me at all.

The swiffer girl does it for me.

The mixed chick in the Moon Pod commercial could get it.

The mixed mom in the Kraft cheese commercial is a personal favorite.

I chuckle because that variety of swirl is relatively rare.
