I've been wondering that myself.

I heard him on Hannity yesterday saying Barnette has no chance because she wanted at statue of Obama.

No one said a thing about McCormick.

I think he sees somebody who can win over the kind of people that shy away from Trump because of mean tweets.

It's a way of expanding the reach of his political brand and IMO it's smart for that reason.

Biden just babbled that "Fetterman can win in Nov" because the "GOP candidates have fought a malicious, chaotic primary campaign" and "have shown their authentic selves – that whoever emerges will be too dangerous, too craven & too extreme to represent Pennsylvania in the United States Senate."

Oz looked like a good bet until GOPe started pumping money to Barnett. She definitely took votes from OZ, combined with the sleazy mudslinging from McCormick.

McCormick doing well in rural Pennsylvania, winning counties like Washington, Perry, Columbia, and Venango.

The areas though that Oz will be toughest include the Philadelphia suburbs, northeastern PA, York/Lancaster, have not yet come in.

The fact is him getting off of Twitter has made him less connected to the masses. Between this and not firing and still defending Fauci, it’s a dealbreaker for me in the primaries vs DeSantis or Paul. He’s lost his touch and he’s too old. Trump did a great service for the country exposing the media and Establishment, but it’s time for new blood, someone who would have never been dumb or gullible enough to hire John Bolton.

He probably saw a guy who consistently wins at life and in business who told him he would be part of the Trump coalition. I think OZ has been semi- red-pilled. Running as a Republican meant he had to burn bridges and end relationships. Like Trump, he's just a guy who gets shite done, not necessarily a true ideologue. Do not read any of the above as if I am endorsing OZ, I'm just giving you my answer as I see it.

Successful and popular celebrity lends electability. Trump would know.
