Which is exactly what's happening outside of the echo chamber. Just google Trump Colbert and see all the responses and criticisms of the admin. For what? Targeting a leftist echo chamber that will influence nobody, at this point?
Of course they’re doing this. This is their next go to move after crying about racism.
Your advocating for selective enforcement of the law (like ICE in Minneapolis), is again noted.

the type that this board says isn't real Christianity.
Homosexuality is SIN. The Holy Bible does not dither on that. False Christianity would be anyone preaching that Homosexuality is not a Sin. You hear things like Love is Love.
Jesus made it abundantly clear to the woman caught in adultery
“Go now and leave your life of sin.”
Isaiah 5:20 NIV
20 Woe to those who call evil good
and good evil,
who put darkness for light
and light for darkness,
who put bitter for sweet
and sweet for bitter.

Romans 1 makes that pretty clear, but it does seem like we pick and choose.
Ephesians 4:29-32 talks about not letting unwholesome talk come out of your mouths and the importance of getting rid of bitterness, malice, anger, and slander but the first page of things said towards Talarico in this thread wouldn’t remotely qualify towards that.

It is completely ignorant to believe one can confess through another person to God. No man is a vicar to God!!

Not talking about that. I'm referencing the apologetics Christianity that SFP was talking towards. The paths that United Methodist and ELCA Lutherans have taken towards embracing Homosexuality and twisting The Word to support that.
Christ loves all people, even those who curse and reject him and choose Hell.
But The Word is very clear on Sin and not remaining it it.

If tweet fails to load, click here.A neat little trick here from Talarico and Colbert Federal law since 1932 has required broadcast media to give equal time to competing political candidates, but Colbert wanted to platform only Talarico and not his other opponents.
So, he interviews Talarico but releases the video only online. Everyone who sees it thinks it aired on the show, Colbert doesn't have to give equal time, and since he has virtually no TV viewers anyway, he still reaches his maximum audience.
Meanwhile, Talarico falsely claims that he's being censored and gets free publicity two weeks out from his primary election by claiming that almost a century of federal law is somehow President Trump's fault.
An ingenious way of getting around the law indeed...

Fwiw, that’s never traditionally applied to talk shows.

Fwiw, you’re wrong.
Whether it was enforced or not (like our borders) is a different matter.

quote:Have heard this before and this is answered unequivocally in Luke 1:26-45. There is no reason for some of the details that were in written to have any standing 2000 years ago. I cannot be convinced that the writer included Elizabeth being in her second trimester and Mary being very, very early in her first trimester were not divinely inspired details as a clear answer for us 2000 years in the future. I actually chuckle at the thought of Luke writing it and the Spirit inspiring these details at what he must have thought of those details being included and how necessary they really were to the story.

I don’t think you meant to use the word vassal.
Vassal means to be subordinate, we are all vassals to God

I do apologize. I meant to use the word "vicar". I made the change and thank you for letting me know.
