As a former Christian, I can't understand how any 'progressive' can be viewed as Christian.

All I see are Marxists cosplaying as being religious.

This shite right here is the problem.

No facts. No logical reasoning. Just, I feel, therefore it must be true. Then totally fabricated a disagreement to lecture on.

I don’t know how these people take themselves seriously. Reminds me of the American idol contestants who find out they can’t sing on live tv, then blame the guy telling them the truth as if HE is the a-hole.

Over 75%

Leftist/socialists are trained to view government as their supreme being. That is why Marx called religion "opiate of the masses".

We are PCA and I’m personally on the conservative end of our denomination (I think anyway).

PC(USA) has some hope. At least in the South and at least compared to some of the other apostate “Protestant” demons (lol I typed denoms but the autocorrect works too).

My comment isn't meant to reflect on you or any denomination, but I don't think we'll be judged by what church we attended or if we even went to church. That's what the Phaisees thought.

The Pharisees were condemned for multiple reasons, including their hypocrisy, false and man-made teachings, and disobedience to the weightier matters of God’s law.

The Bible has the community of God’s people (the “church”) as the context for what God reveals to us as His covenant people, in both the old and new testaments. We are commanded to not forsake meeting together. We are to build one another up in the faith. We are to submit to the teaching and governance (including discipline) of the church. We are to observe the sacraments. On and on the list goes.

While belonging to the visible church does not save anyone (only trusting in Jesus’ work by faith does), Christianity isn’t a solo religion. The person who willfully separates themselves from the means of grace that God has provided through the church should not expect God’s blessing, but should expect to be held accountable by Jesus who gave us the church and will judge all people by what they have done in light of His commandments.

Pretermitting your comment about being “judged” (I’m not sure exactly what you’re referring to, but Christ himself said we’d have to account for every idle word we ever spoke Matt 13:36), we are talking (in my sidebar anyway) about truth being preached and taught in church. The liberal/mainline denominations I cited do not—in large part, believe in sin, objective truth, the divinity of Christ, His substitutional atonement, His imputation of righteousness, a pure, Holy and perfectly righteous God who—by His very nature does not wink at transgressions and therefore requires justice but also is ever Gracious and true to his promise to provide the sacrificial lamb.

This has nothing to do with the legalism and false gospels of the Pharisees et al.

Rather it is about the very heart of the Gospel and the places that is being taught and is cherished as the saving lifeblood of all humanity.

Bless you, oh ignorant one.
There is no "take on Christianity". There is The Christ & the Truth &
If they don't blv this, they are wrong. Very wrong.

John 14:6
Jesus said: I am the Way; I am Truth and Life. No one can come to the Father except through me.

John 3:5
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

There is only 1 take. Jesus is Lord.

Regardless of belief, one day you will utter that phrase.

Not being a Christian doesn't mean you are pro-evil.

The world isn't black and white.
