Being self-sufficient in Farming and Steelmaking is an essential National Security issue. The income off those Tariffs should help support those industries. And stopping the Chinese form stealing our research in high tech and using it against us too.
The Chinese are smart, disciplined and have 4 times our population. Let them earn their economic and military superiority fairly. Trump won't be a patsy; they'd best get honest, take the hit, and rebuild. Same with the Dems. Or they can both go down squealing and throwing tantrums.

I don’t mind helping our workers get through this. We are in the middle of making China bend the knee. So there will be consequences. Consequences that these workers have not brought on themselves. I have absolutely no issue helping them out for the time being considering what the end result will be.
If you have an issue with spending, then you should take a look at how much we spend on entitlement programs here in the United States. Or how much we give to other countries for absolutely no reason. It’ll make your head explode at the stupidity of it all.

Our country is full of hypocrites.
Farmers , Wall Street , Detroit , lazy asses , illegals and foreign countries all suck at the teat of the 53%.
I don't think any of those people should get their money from the 53% . That money should be spent in our country on things like roads , airports , bridges , military , VA hospitals , border security etc....
Liberals and Libertarians bitch about farmers , but not about foreign aid , unfair trade practices and illegals. Libertarians bitch more about the wall than Liberals do. Illegals cost far more than a wall would.
