Acceptable level based on what? Those goal posts have moved several times since this started.
What if there is never a vaccine? Why would we treat this differently from other similarly communicable diseases going forward?

Has anyone stopped to think about the dangers of prolonged use?

You mean the science that is funded by the NIH that falls under HHS? You know the department headed by Fauci. Scientist in academia are part of the elite. Tenured Professors? I can tell you that science is creaming their pants right now while submitting Covid grant applications and wanting a piece of the pie. Or is it the science that states a face mask doesn’t filter out a virus? Or is it the science that has covid at 0.26% death rate which includes nursing home deaths and comorbidity? Or the science that says school age children are more likely to be killed by lightning? Wait! I know! It must be the science that told Cuomo to send covid patients to nursing homes. How long do y’all think the mask wearing will last? I figure when the heat and humidity get cranked up those masks will start to disappear.
