This is absurd. On March 10, multiple experts predicted that hospitals would be overrun and there would be 100k deaths in 10 days.

The governor of Florida just admitted that there are 18,000 beds and 2500 ICU beds. The largest city in Florida had 35 people show up for testing at their fancy drive thru.

There are hot spots and we certainly need to work to get them what they need, but 60 percent of the cases are in 10 counties nationwide. The rest of the country needs to get back to work.

A lot of schools are blocked off to the following Monday. So, April 6? If we are not back to business then or at least the day after Easter, people will lose their minds.

Sounds like we are flattening the curve, which is exactly what the goal was. I just think the harder we hit this on the front end the quicker we will get out of this mess. If we do half arse measures we are going to be dealing with this all through the fall and into next year.

Probably the opposite will be true... “flattening the curve” will drag this out for months

I don’t agree. Flatten The Curve has been a buzzword and doesn’t really work when grocery stores are open and restaurants still have takeout. America was spared the brunt of this virus. Most people who have it are re-cooperating at home.

Fify. When things reopen and there are still significant carriers and a significant number of non inoculated people back together, and no vaccine, it's going to continue. So we'll be dealing with it for awhile I'm afraid. I'd love to deal with it while we still have a first world economy to support us.

You ftards don't even know what you're voting up and down any more. If anyone thinks we won't be "dealing with this" into next year then I have a quick RE real for you we can close really quickly. Just send me a cashier's check and we'll get started.

The same people who said last week that right now the country’s ICU’s would be overloaded and thousands would be dead

The fricking governor of Louisiana compared our progression to Italy’s when he shut school down for a month.

These people are goddamned insane.
