I didn’t realize this until recently. And you are right, the evidence is very strong and right out in the open.

The six pointed star belonged to Moloch/Rephaim. It is the only time it is mentioned in the Bible. That was a god of human sacrifice.
The old testament is sometimes joked about being a long story about how the Jews continuously refused to follow Gods rules and get punished for it.
