Looks like we'll be number 1 by the end of the weekend.

Serious question - do we trust China's numbers? They are under as much pressure as anyone else to restart their economy and get flights to various parts of the globe back.

If they are hiding the scale of the infection within their country now, they could end up causing another outbreak.

We just surpassed 1,000 total deaths. Italy is approaching 8,000.

Italy population - 60 million
US population - 330 million

Holler back when we have 5.5x the rate of Italy.

The comparator would be the EU. Italy equates to a couple of large states.

Utterly meaningless, the US has 340 million people, third most populous country int he world.

We're going to have the most documented cases when it's all said and done, because China is hiding their number and India doesn't give a shite to even test.

And, per capita, we don't even register with a paltry 227 cases per million and 3 deaths per million.

Italy is 5x to 6x worse on cases per capita and, get this, FORTY TIMES as bad on deaths per capita.
