SALT deductions created for states with high taxes largely implemented by Democratic governors and legislators? It’s Trump’s fault they have made it nearly unaffordable to live in those states lol your economic prowess is inspiring

And people that advocate for something to end while applauding the barriers put in place to stall it and then say "I thought it was supposed to work" are moronic hypocrites of the highest order.

He made national debt and spending a big issue. Republicans had congress and they forced the reductions etc.

Of those closest population is 123 m and Japan Germany 84m.. All have between 2-5b GDP.
The U.S. has largest GDP per population.
All of those countries listed have a better quality of life than us and live longer. Amongst other categories that rank top 10.
It can be done but have to have the right ppl in office and support. It won’t be perfect but better than what I’m paying now for insurance in the long run.

China despite being a communist country has near universal healthcare. That’s comparable to our population and GDP. They still pay out of pocket for some deductibles but 95% of ppl are covered.

Add that to our current spending of @$7trillion and we get a total federal expenditure between $14-$17trillion.
The federal government brings in roughly $3.5trillion, the majority of which comes from income taxes of which roughly 10% of earners pay.
That would leave a deficit of $10.5-$13.5 trillion…. Every year.
How would we narrow or eliminate that divide with a single payer or national healthcare plan?
