No. Investment in expansion would start tomorrow if we had an oil friendly president. No company will start the expensive process when it could be shut down next week by a liberal administration.
Why do you think gas was so cheap under Trump?

Trump's final year before having his office stolen, I could full the wife's car from empty with $26.

Friday evening, I filled the same car up from empty for exactly $58.50.

frick you BRANDON.

Paying far more in Oklahoma for gas than even back in the W. years when the fuel costs helped lead to a crash and recession. Difference between then and now is, this time around it's calculated and deliberate. Their "green" agenda forces people to both drive less and pay astronomically more for driving.

Filled up the tank in my S×S yesterday and didn't even bother looking at the total. It's depressing.

Is the plan to lose the House and Senate in the midterms and probably the presidency in 24?

Oil companies do not control oil prices the market does, *biden actually said he wanted to destroy the oil and gas industry yet libtards still voted for him and i guarantee you they are crying about prices.

If this fraudulent administration gives American sovereignty over to WHO, there will be no elections.

Exactly what is your solution then? Can't just expand capacity overnight, will take years.

bullshite. There are marginal fields that could come back online with the proper incentive for the owners. The problem is this administration cannot be counted on for a consistent set of rules. If marginal fields are brought back online this administration will change the rules and make it impossible to recoup the start-up costs.

No one wants to spend $100mm bringing marginal fields back online to have the EPA, BOEMRE, or whoever else the Biden admin will throw at them destroy the investment a year from now.

I’m sure the bipartisan effort to send $40,000,000,000 to Ukraine will be helping you out soon.

Don't know any of the story on why these plants are shutting down.

I have been told that when prices are high plants don't make much money and the inverse when prices are low.

With prices being what they are and probably going higher before coming back down. Maintenance and upgrades might be on the list.

Doesn't matte to the current administration what we can sustain, endure etc. We will pay and like it according to JP.

With the green BS going on right now I find it hard to believe the producers are limiting refining capacity long term.

Time will tell, but it would be great knowledge to understand the reduction in capacity and plan going foward.

They need crisis to remain in power. Gas shortage food shortage violence. A quick solution before the vote. That’s my prediction.

I wish I didn't believe me.

I wish they wouldn't then from their visits spend a million dollars and a ton of time with these new installations for monitoring that will do absolute dick. We gain nothing but having additional monitoring for zero reasons...

When pressed and questioned on the need for redundancy for comparative purposes they had no idea how the technology even worked.

We are commissioning this shite in two weeks from their findings and it going to be so shitty I've begun looking for other work and where I can go.

It's only going to get worse and they are causing me problems there are no solutions to. There will be constant violations I can't fix due to the installations. It's It's shite design with tech being used that is incapable of doing what they want.

They don't know what the frick they are doing and making regulations and holding you to them.

And they want me to buy into climate chnage....
