Clarence 'Kelly' Johnson designed and built the SR-71 Blackbird with a slide rule. A SLIDE RULE...unbelievable.
He had to account for the skin expanding and contracting due to friction. Had to account for the fuel tanks expanding and contracting.

The Baby Boomer generation was born between 1946 and 1964, inclusive, following the end of World War II.
A 17-18 year in 1976 railing a girl in his Dad's or her Dad's (in my case) '74 LTD would be a Boomer.

You can't find honest articles on Ed Dwight, the first black accepted into the astronaut program.
The story is, racism is why he never got a flight and was drummed out.
The real story is, he failed almost every phase of training and was more interested in "I'm the black astronaut" rather than actually being an astronaut.
