Can we get a “Covid stories board” already?

We don’t need a new thread for every persons experience. We all have them.

A guy I know had it run through his office. Everyone got it, but it was like a brief and mild cold.

ZOMG!

IT'S like in 2015, hotels set a record for occupancy with 45% in December. In 2021? 47.5%
Maybe, just maybe, all these hot piss tests are from idiots wanting to travel and are getting tested despite ZERO symptoms?

I hate covid

Vaccines and natural immunity doesn't seem to do to much to the new covid strain. Everyone will take a turn getting the covid sniffles.

Apparently, this strain is a completely different coronavirus, but they keep trying to link it to the 2 year old Wuhan flu.
If it was the same covid-19, then those who already had it would not get it again. Their antibodies would fight it.

When the Supreme Court mandates the vaccine for anti-vaxxers, this horrible virus will be on its last leg.

When they do that, may be the start of the next big thing. Lots of Americans with guns will be telling the court FU!

Nah there are still those few people who are just totally immune to it for some reason. I work with a Navy Vet and he has literally been bathing inCovid on a couple different occasions bc of his family and still hasn’t popped positive.

He is convinced it something to do with whatever concoction they injected into him during his Desert Storm days in the Middle East.

Maybe not. If he was exposed to, and built immunity to, SARS-Cov in 2004 or later, then he’s likely immune to SARS-Cov-2, which shares 90% of the SARS-Cov genome. The latter first appeared in 2004, and was prevalent in the Middle East.

No, the largest study done in the world of 2.5 million shows the vaccinated are more likely to get covid than those not vaccinated.

It's almost like we're having, oh I don't know... a rough flu season.

Shocking that in the initial onset of the China Flu that regular Flu Type A and B just disappeared, and then the CDC comes out just in November and says the test they were using could not differentiate between the two.

Shocking

My 4 year old appears to be immune. Wife, myself, and my 7 year old got it between Christmas and New Year's. My wife had all the symptoms. My son had a fever of 101-102 for 2 days, off and on, but felt completely fine. I was tired one day, then developed a cough but that was most likely the typical extremes in changing weather, but my 4 year old wasn't phased at all.

Everyone will get it. Shots are absolutely worthless. Stop getting tested, stop getting "boosted", and ignore the politicians.

Here is a theory:

Maybe this coronavirus is completely different than the COVID 19 virus and more like the hundreds before COVID 19 was made in a lab.

I dont know that this is true. I'm sure it varies by genetics but my kids have had group outings and playdates with friends in the neighborhood a lot lately. My oldest daughter got ice cream with 3 of her friends on a wednesday and by friday those 3 (vaccinated) friends were all stuck in bed sick from COVID. My daughter never had any symptoms or felt any different.

Same for my son. Other kids on our street are dealing with parents who have covid but the kids who had covid previously (and not vaxxed) are doing great and still testing negative.

I think natural immunity can be highly effective for some folks but it clearly isn't the end all be all for everyone. We need more understanding on why that is and how that is.

Last week OLOL had its first day with zero people being treated for Covid since this started.

The same day LDH listed over 2,200 Covid patients statewide and over 200 Covid deaths for the week

Read into that what you will about the data we are being fed
