There has been a lot of economic doomer porn since '08. Celente is one of the guys always pushing it. Not saying I don't believe it -- I think our economic system is a bit of a pyramid scheme, but at least things are good for now.

Something I read about 40-50 years ago (The U.S. - Soviet Union arms race was going full blast at the time.): "I don't know what the next war will be fought with, but the one after that will be fought with sticks and stones."

BTW...yeah, WWIII and "greatest depression" might be plausible, as Prophecy in the back of the Good Book indicates. We all know that story. Whatever...eternity is plenty of time to get it right. We will. The Lord has our back.

None of them, not China, not Russia, certainly not the middle east can force project like we can under conventional terms. They dont have the navy to do it

If anyone were stupid enough to try the retaliation would be swift and harsh.

I have a feeling the US will be on the sidelines for WW3. For whatever reason we will be crippled; something catastrophic- man or natural or constitutional? It will embolden the east/ Russia to take their shot.

Modern global economies are too closely tied together for an all out global conflict. It won't happen on a ww1 or ww2 scale.

WWIII at this point? Russia vs Europe or China vs the rest of Asia, either of which expands from that theater across the rest of the world.
The Middle East is taking Europe without a shot as of this second, so I don’t see that being it without a few counties stepping up.

This sounds like Armageddon. A lot of (most?) Bible scholars believe the U. S. is not mentioned as a participant in Armageddon.
