I doubt it. The majority of GOP voters have a fetish for losing and nominating previous General Election losers or unelectable candidates. It's truly bizarre. They cost us numerous swing races in 2022 by nominating awful candidates and they haven't learned from that.

Lol the majority of Desantis devotees here were head over heels for him before he even announced, much less disclosed for public consumption some of the more important issues and his positions on same. So I don’t put much weight towards those who claim this is a policy thing.

What the hell are you talking about? DeSantis made his names because of his command over policy and being able to go out there and execute and explain why....exactly like he did tonight.
