I did not watch. I hope to see some highlights. I like DeSantis and have no doubt he wiped the floor with Newsome on substance, for whatever portion of our retarded electorate still cares about such things.
The problem you are going to have, is many of the potential voting pool did not see this debate. I guarantee you, if you walk on a random construction site or into your local Wal Mart, or outside of a Church and ask people about it or what they think of DeSantis... no one is going to be dialed in on any of this, the issues, or likely even who DeSantis is outside of Floridians.
This is just reality, and I feel like the DeSantis campaign has not done a great job of winning over the groups and the portion of the GOP voter base they neeeded to win over. I realize us poli-nerds like to get into the weeds on all the issues and the nuances, but the long haul driver and the meme bros are not into it.

I don't totally disagree but you keep acting like the race is over, it's not. The race starts with Iowa. If the polls are going to move they will move after that when people are starting to pay attention and if they see Trump is actually being threatened. As it stands most people are far more worried about the CFB Playoffs than the Primaries, much less the election next year.

I've watched enough to say that Newsom destroyed DeSantis. He's like a more handsome Bill Clinton and is slick as hell. That's going to play.
DeSantis is a fricking dweeb.
I pray Biden or Harris is their nominee, because it would be tough to beat Newsom. I think Trump could do it, but it would be tough.

DeSantis told a story about how Newsom's FIL moved to Florida because it was safe and well governed. He showed a fricking Poop Map and then talked about how Newsom only cleaned it up to show off for Xi and fly Chinese flags. He talked about how California is more Free if you consider the free to shite in public, have an open air drug market, and camp and then light freeways on fire freedom.
Newsom on the other hand pointed out that DeSantis mispronounced Kamala Harris' name and he should call her "Madame Vice President".

I have no idea why Trump supporters shite on DeSantis. There is no competition. Trump is going to win. I’m glad Ron buried Newsom and exposed their shite policies literally.
