it is historically interesting that Justice Clarence Thomas didn't get YES judicial committee votes; but got cloture and then the nomination.
Turtle up....wait he just said when we vote later this morning...
they aren't voting at 10:30 EST?

I am confused as well. I guess they will end debate @ 10:30 EST? Procedural vote is a precursor of how they will vote? I guess we will see soon enough.

Mitch is last. He will call the vote when he finishes speaking.

Does anyone know if how they vote on cloture to end debate, is how they USUALLY vote in final vote? Or is everything different because Collins/Flake et al... are being drama queens?

Thank the Lord these two leftist loons (Feinstein and Schumer) can't help themselves when they speak and they actually let the American people know how dangerous they are. After listening to them speak you got their reasons for not confirming Kavanaugh, they want the right to commit infantacide, they want to severely restrict the 2nd amendment if not outright abolish nearly all gun ownership, neuter the power of the POTUS (unless it's someone like Obammy), pay attention America the oppressors are letting themselves be known. Now is not the time to relax patriots.
Take every opportunity you get to point out the hypocritical and devious nature of the Dims, you must do it! Have the courage and love for this country to speak out against the "fundamental transformation" of America, an ideology that is built around a Godless society and an all powerful central government molded in the image of progressive socialism.

I thought formal procedure was they had to interrupt a speaker who has the floor and is speaking

I wonder how many protesters will interrupt this vote?

I don't think it's fair to compare Collins and Flake. Flake pretends "conservatism" but then wants to carry the "Maverick" banner.
Collins is a fairly consistent moderate, relatively loyal caucus voter outside a few key issues and has not forced the committee or Senate to slow things down for Kavanaugh (unlike Flake, who is the reason we're 3 weeks past when this should have been voted on).

Then the game goes on until the nomination is withdrawn or until something happens to change the circumstances . . . like an election.

True, Flake is a Flake. I went to Cindy McCain's twitter to see what she thinks because she retweeted Flake asking for Ford to testify. She has said nothing else.
Here we go provoking cloture.
