Fondling students or having them fondle him isn't a fireable offense?

Two 8 year old girls braiding each other's hair is fondling each other?

It's pretty clear he wasn't fired over this one specific incident. This one specific incident just made parents/admin of everything else happening.

Lol, I agree. Even after being fired, he still doesn't get it. He's obviously not teacher material. Chose the wrong career field.

He shouldn't be! And definitely shouldn't be calling each other "bestie." SMH

In my opinion, ant teacher who posts anything in classroom on social media should be fired. This should be a no tolerance policy. Children should not be exploited in any means

This is brilliant propaganda framing. It implies he was fired for having braids. He wasn't. He was fired for:

quote:

black female students encircle him and unbraid his nappy hair while he sat at his desk and played on his laptop
Which would have been wrong no matter what color or hairstyle he had.

Didn't see where this was mentioned, so I'm a assuming it's a major black led city/district since "mUh racism" hasn't been thrown out there...well...yet.

I guess you disagree because most parents nowadays don't understand their own roles and act appropriately. It still takes a village to raise kids right.

I don't think where it occurred is relevant as much as why it happened.

It’s weird you don’t let children play in a grown man’s hair

Yes, that type of interaction and relationship with his students is unprofessional and inappropriate.

Right. The title just identified the person not what he did.
